Pune: The AIC Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum and the National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate innovation and support startups in electric vehicles, automotive technology and connected mobility.
The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in startup incubation, technical guidance, testing and validation facilities, and industry connect.
The collaboration between AIC Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum and NATRAX is expected to provide startups with greater access to automotive testing facilities and industry networks, supporting the development of next-generation mobility technologies.
The MoU was signed at the Pinnacle Mobility Solutions-EKA project in Chakan by Dr. Avinash Thakur, Chief Executive Officer, AIC Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum, and Dr. Manish Jaiswal, Director, NATRAX.
Zoeb Altafhusein Karampurwala, Chief Product Officer, EKA-Pinnacle Mobility Solutions; Chief Engineers from the Research and Development department Kaustubh Joshi and Pankaj Munoli; and Swapnil Tambe were present on the occasion.
Shadab Hussain, Senior Manager, represented AIC Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum, while Tulika Majumdar, Senior Engineer and Group Head, represented NATRAX.

AIC Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum to Support Startup Incubation
The AIC Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum has an extensive network for startup incubation, mentoring and industry connections, while NATRAX has advanced vehicle testing and validation facilities.
Under the partnership, several initiatives will be organised, including startup incubation programmes, skill development programmes, hackathons, innovation competitions, technical sessions, mentoring programmes and industry interactions.
The collaboration will particularly focus on providing startups in the electric vehicle and automotive mobility sectors with access to technical experts, industry networks and testing facilities. The initiative is intended to strengthen the link between startup innovation and automotive testing and validation.
Focus on Electric and Connected Mobility Startups
Dr. Avinash Thakur said, “The partnership with NATRAX will serve as an important link between startups and the automotive testing and validation sector. Going beyond incubation, our objective is to provide innovations with technical, industrial and testing support and encourage the development of market-ready products.
“Through this collaboration, several useful initiatives can be implemented in the electric and connected mobility sector. Efforts will also be made to connect startups with industry, strategic partners, academic institutions, government agencies and other relevant organisations.
The focus will be on further strengthening the relationship of startups with the automotive innovation ecosystem in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and across the country.”
The AIC Pinnacle Entrepreneurship Forum and NATRAX partnership will therefore include opportunities for startups to engage with stakeholders across the automotive ecosystem while accessing testing and technical capabilities.
NATRAX to Provide Testing and Validation Support
Dr. Manish Jaiswal said, “NATRAX is committed to supporting innovation and strengthening the automotive technology ecosystem.
Through collaboration with AIC Pinnacle, startups and innovators will benefit from testing, validation and technical facilities. Such partnerships can accelerate the development and adoption of future mobility technologies.”
The MoU is focused on creating greater collaboration between startup incubation and automotive testing infrastructure.
For startups working on electric vehicles, connected mobility and related automotive technologies, the partnership will bring together incubation support, technical expertise, testing capabilities and industry interaction.
